What Hull & Line does
Hull & Line reads the rate confirmation you upload, computes the detention you are owed from your dock-in and dock-out times, checks the broker against public FMCSA records, and drafts a demand letter that cites the contract and the regulation. It prepares the case; you decide what happens next.

It's document automation, not legal advice — you review and send every claim, and you're responsible for your own.
Hull & Line prepares documents from the information you give us and from public regulations. We are not a law firm, we do not represent you, and nothing the tool produces is legal advice. If you need advice on a specific dispute, talk to an attorney. You are responsible for the accuracy of the times, amounts, and facts you enter, and for reviewing every document before it goes out.
You send every letter under your own name
Hull & Line never contacts a broker for you. Every demand letter is handed back to you to review and send under your own name — you copy it, download it, or open it pre-addressed in your own mail. You decide what is sent and when, and the letter goes out as your correspondence, not ours.
SMS messaging — express written consent (TCPA)
By providing your mobile number and opting in — for example, by texting our keyword or checking the SMS consent box on our sign-up form — you give Fifth Suit Strategies LLC, operating Hull & Line, your express written consent to send you recurring autodialed marketing and informational text messages at the number you provide, including messages about detention recovery, early access, and the Truck Docket letter.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing or using Hull & Line. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to cancel at any time, and HELP for help; we honor STOP requests immediately. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Our handling of the number you provide is described in our Privacy policy.
Beta
Hull & Line is in private beta and is free to use while in beta. Features may change, and access is opened to a limited group of carriers at a time. We make no claim about price until a price is set and stated here.
Your responsibility
Use Hull & Line only for your own claims and freight. Do not use it to submit information you know to be false, or in a way that violates a broker agreement or the law. You remain responsible for your own business decisions and for anything you send.
